Pride always lurks when prosperity or achievement arrives,
On the fringes of my subconscious mind.
Moving stealthly , attempting to turn joy into arrogance.
But he has accidently stepped into the LIGHT,
Miscalculated his steps in the corridors of my heart.
And stepped into the LIGHT of you TRUTH ,
who makes his permanent dwelling here
in my heart.
THere is no fear of this to frequent intruder.
For he who dwells is a mighty warrior , and with words of eternal wisdom
slays you pride and your mirad of hoodlums
yes you ,
envy , strife, comparision , division , distrust , disbelief , doubt , greed, selfishness, indifference, and apathy.
Bringing perspective again to me
For i would scorn the wisdom and grace of God if i were to ever let you dwell.
Coinhibiting with you in the dark corridors of my heart,
dodging the ever bright ,
ever persistant LIGHT.
Yes, wisdom and truth is on guard again
beaming, watching and waiting.
